A very busy Sunday . . .

Wow. What a busy Sunday.
After church, wife, daughter and I
headed down the the "Festival of the Little Hills."
Our towns yearly birthday party.
I think it was one of the best we have had
for a few years.
Lots of good booths, and food and some
good music.
Daughter really enjoyed the stalls that
had nice doll clothes.

Although we did not buy any, she
sure had fun looking.

After trying a couple of rides, that turned out
to be to hot in the sun we continued walking around
the grounds.
Daughter tried her hand at an old pump.

And at an old 'washing machine'.

Lots of nice old machinery on hand.
Many of these come every year.

She got to ride on a flying swing.

My old Scout troop had a booth.

This year they even had
some nice restored old boats and motors on hand.

I got out the cabin to mow for a little while in the late afternoon.
This time of year there are lots of walking sticks.

Freaky looking insects.

The place look good after a good mow.

The old blacksmith door that I had saved.

And the yucca that kept growing even after many logs had
been dragged over it.

A very good day.

An apple a day. . .

I am not usually much on still life paintings, but love her apples.
Thanks Joy
