Not as bad as expected. . .

Well, we didn't get the blizzard, at least not here in St Charles, but it was a pretty interesting day.
Icy rain, sleet, snow in that order made for fun conditions.
Luckily, and surprisingly most people believed the warnings and stayed home.
On my way home from work (the mail must go through!) it seemed like a ghost town
with no traffic hardly on the roads.Strange!

This is rush hour, 5pm on a Tuesday evening.

Only one other car around at a normally very busy street.

This is normally one of the busiest intersections in the county.
