Did a QS from a photo from last years trip to Wales.
I am also working on this as a large painting to be done, . . .  well. . . some day.

This bridge and canal house were just out side of LLangollen, Wales.
We stayed over night on the canal near this spot.

More snow.

Finally got out to the cabin after the big snow.

I looked like there was about 9 inches on the ground.


A bit more than we got in town.

Looks like some little visitor came knocking.

Never to cold to strike a pose.



Not as bad as expected. . .

Well, we didn't get the blizzard, at least not here in St Charles, but it was a pretty interesting day.
Icy rain, sleet, snow in that order made for fun conditions.
Luckily, and surprisingly most people believed the warnings and stayed home.
On my way home from work (the mail must go through!) it seemed like a ghost town
with no traffic hardly on the roads.Strange!

This is rush hour, 5pm on a Tuesday evening.

Only one other car around at a normally very busy street.

This is normally one of the busiest intersections in the county.

Going to be beautiful, going to be dangerous. . .

Here it comes. I think this is the first official blizzard warning I can remember in Missouri.
