I have recently. . .

been doing more family history research and came across the departure sheet for our departure from England in 1956 (which I will not bore you with here.)
But what has been really fun is looking at the occupations of those departing.
We don't do stuff like that any more.
It is little stuff like this that really helps in tracking down families.

Now a days, in some ways, we put so much about our lives out in public through all the social networks and web we use, that at times we don't seem at all private anymore.

Yet, in many ways, we don't record little things about our public selves for future records in safe places that family can find later.
This information is not on our plane tickets like it is on this ships form.

What will we do without the family Bible?
