Sepia Sat. - Sea side 1964

John and Doris

Aunt and Uncle in England.
I only got to meet them once in 1970 and he was one of those guys that was like a big teddy bear.
She was one of twins.

I posted this on the Sepia Saturday Blog.

  1. I wonder where the photograph was taken John. Have you any idea which bit of England they lived in? A great Sepia Saturday photograph, wherever it may be.

  2. They lived in London, so it would have been on a sea side visit.

  4. With deck chairs like those it could only be an English beach.

    1. A couple of years ago we noticed you could still rent them at Filey.

  6. I beg to differ, Bob. We have/had the same type of deck chairs here.
but no matter where it is, they look like a happy couple!

    1. Would have been one of the beaches near London. They didn't travel to far from home.

  7. They sure look like they are having a grand time. Wow! Those skin-tight leggings look a bit warm for the seaside, but then again, we're talking the Atlantic Ocean most likely, so perhaps not.

    Welcome to the gang!

You should see how her mother deck out for the trip!
