Cool weather pool/birthday party. . . .

 Well, you can't always plan around the weather when it comes to pool parties. You just have to take what you get.







Really cool weather. . .

 found only the kids and myself (later adding Charles) getting in the water between rain showers . . .

 . . . while most of the crowd, happily, stayed inside and caught up on socializing.








But the pool party didn't really get going until . . . .

. . . the kids moved all the pool toys into the hot tub and just made it a miniature pool party.

(We had just refilled it in the morning, so the temp had not gotten very high yet.)
